The Bible
The Bible is the holy and authoritative Word of God. The Bible is the source of all truth and the divine food that nourishes man's soul. The Bible contains all of God's instructions for man – how to live his life and how to love, seek, serve, and honor the Almighty God with all his heart. The Bible has been under the direct instruction and guidance of the Almighty God. For this task, He used over 40 different authors from all walks of life and from different places over a period of 1500 years. Printed in over 2200 languages, at least partially, the Bible remains, by far, the most widely distributed book in the world today. No other book has withstood the test of time as the Bible. Many have tried relentlessly to burn it, to ban it, and even outlaw it. Yet God's Word has gloriously prevailed, and continues to bless the nations of the world even today.

The Bible is comprised of 66 books – 39 in the Old Testament and 27 in the New Testament. These books can be broadly classified into 4 categories: History, Poetry, Prophecy, and Teaching.

God's Word speaks to us through parables and songs, and the numerous ways in which He guided and blessed His people. His Word is a refuge for us in our times of trouble, a guide for our everyday living, and above all the storehouse of His promises for abundant blessings.
